About Our Beloved White Oak Fields
If you only knew how this Blueberry Farm has changed our lives and the adventure it has brought to my little family – it would most likely give you chills!
Let me begin by introducing myself to you. My name is Lindsay Jackson and I am the ecstatic and humble owner of White Oak Fields, along with my wonderful husband, Chris. We are kept busy but so fulfilled by our three beautiful children, two dogs, seven chickens, 2,100 blueberry bushes, 20 acres of land to tend to, and our exciting new wedding venue! And somehow, my hubby, Chris, still manages to keep a full-time job – whew!
Yes, it’s true our lives are busy, but we believe God gives us exactly what we need! He spoke an important truth that I especially needed to hear through Proverbs 31:10-31 about the traits of a virtuous woman. I had just made a decade of being a stay-at-home mother since I graduated college, and I had this feeling in the pit of my stomach that God wanted more for our family… as if completing the daily motherly duties wasn’t enough!
So as I spent my quiet time with the Lord, He began building my confidence from reading the attributes of a virtuous woman – she is valuable, she is hardworking, she is trustworthy, she is provisional, she is a homemaker, she is strong, she is creative, she is gifted, she is wise, and the list goes on and on! He can give us the power and strength to be so much more than we could have ever envisioned for ourselves! All you have to do is trust in Him and give Him the glory.
My hope is that I not only create a successful, beautiful farm and venue but that I connect with other women and young couples who are on the beginning of their journey together. That is my overall mission… to create beauty and connect with others; and what better way to connect with them than when they are just starting their own lives together!? It’s an exciting time and God is doing awesome things despite what we see and I cannot wait to meet each and every one of you! Be bold and confident and live your life to the fullest!

A glimpse of the farm
White Oak Fields was established in 2020. If you drove down the winding driveway you’d most likely see the owners riding around on their Polaris with a glass of wine in their hands either juggling the kids, spraying for weeds, or just enjoying the beauty of the property.
The owners, Chris and Lindsay Jackson, are LSU Graduates where Chris was the place kicker and punter for the football team, third baseman for the baseball team, and Lindsay was a member of the LSU Golden Girls. They have always dreamt big and accomplished their goals together which makes them super passionate in whatever they set their minds to.
Chris and Lindsay will take this passion and help you create the wedding or event that you’ve always envisioned and deserve. They believe in beauty and being outdoors with loved ones – celebrating life’s momentous occasions. They believe in family and God and know that celebratory events are important in deepening precious relationships.
White Oak Fields property holds a special place in their hearts; it is Chris and Lindsay’s home away from home, and it is where their family has extended their story.
